Is Carousel Checks secure, and will my bank accept the checks?

Yes. Carousel Checks produces checks that meet or exceed the standards established by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) for financial check printing.

With over 20 years of experience in the check printing industry, we follow established specifications and use security features designed to protect sensitive banking information. Our checks are produced to meet bank processing requirements and are accepted by financial institutions nationwide.

Our standard security features meet industry requirements, and we also offer options for enhanced security features for customers who prefer additional protection.

Website Security & Account Access

Is it safe to order checks on your website? Is my payment information secure?

Yes. Our website uses Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption to protect personal and payment information during the ordering process and is routinely scanned by third-party security tools to detect potential vulnerabilities.

Account information used for check printing is stored in a secure database with restricted access, available only to authorized team members who need it to process your order. Customers may also enable two-factor authentication (2FA) for additional account profile protection.

Why can’t I log into my account or receive the password reset email?

If you are having trouble logging into your account, try using the password reset option on the login page.

If you do not receive the reset email, please check your spam or junk mail folder, as some email providers may filter automated messages. Be sure to also confirm that the email address entered is correct.

Ordering

How do I place a new order or reorder checks?

You can place a new order or reorder checks directly through our website.

Will I receive confirmation after placing my online order?

Yes. After placing your order, you will see an Order Confirmation page that includes your order number. A confirmation email will also be sent to the email address associated with your order.

How do I make sure my new checks from Carousel Checks include my bank’s specifications?

Have a check and deposit slip (deposit ticket) from your current account available when placing your order so you can reference the correct banking information. Use the “?” help icons during the ordering process for guidance.

Can the billing, shipping, and check imprint addresses be different on my order?

Yes. The billing address, shipping address, and imprint address on the checks may be different.

The billing address is required for credit card authorization. The shipping address is where your order will be delivered, and the imprint address is the address printed on your checks.

Because checks contain confidential banking information, Carousel Checks may require verification of certain order details before processing or shipping an order. This helps ensure orders are placed by the appropriate account holder and delivered to a valid address.

Order Status & Delivery

How do I review the status of my check printing order?

A shipping confirmation is sent to the email associated with your order once it has been shipped. You can also check your order status by logging into your account or using our Chat feature. Please note that order status is not available online for guest orders.

When will I receive my order?

Most orders are produced within 3–4 business days, depending on the product line.

Delivery time depends on both production time and the shipping method selected at checkout.

Rush printing and expedited shipping options are also available if you need your order sooner.

How much will shipping cost?

For personal check orders, we offer Free Bulk Shipping. Many customers choose a trackable shipping option for added delivery visibility and security.

Should I use a street address or a P.O. Box for shipping?

The correct address depends on the shipping method selected.

For Bulk Shipping and Trackable Shipping, orders are delivered by USPS. You may provide either your street address or P.O. Box, depending on where you normally receive USPS deliveries.

For UPS Ground, 2-Day, and Next-Day shipping, a physical street address is required, as UPS cannot deliver to P.O. Boxes.

For both USPS and UPS deliveries, please be sure to include any apartment, suite, or unit numbers to ensure accurate delivery.

What happens if my checks are returned to Carousel Checks by the shipping carrier?

If your order is returned to Carousel Checks by the shipping carrier, we will make every effort to contact you once the package has been received.

If the return was due to an inaccurate or incomplete shipping address, a carrier return fee and reshipment cost will apply. These charges reflect fees assessed by the carrier for returning the package.

Customization & Compatibility

Can I put my business logo on my checks?

Yes. Most of our business check products allow logo printing in black/grayscale or full color. These options are available for a small additional charge.

Can I put my own picture on my checks?

Yes. Carousel Checks offers Custom Photo Personal Checks and Business Manual Checks that allow you to include your own picture or design.

You can also add your image to address labels and checkbook covers for a coordinated look.

Images can be uploaded during the ordering process. For best results, we recommend using clear, high-quality image files.

My software is not listed in the website dropdown. Can you still print my checks?

Yes. We maintain a large library of layouts that match most accounting and check printing software.

If your software is not listed, we can usually match your current layout or create a custom match at no additional charge. For a first order, we may request a sample of your current check layout to ensure proper alignment. Custom matching may take 3–5 business days.

For standard QuickBooks formats, a sample is typically not required.

Do you sell QuickBooks-compatible checks?

Yes, we offer a full line of QuickBooks-compatible checks designed to work seamlessly with your accounting software. All options include built-in security features and are available in Standard, High Security, and Hologram levels. We also offer competitive pricing and great value across our product line. Choose your preference in our software selector: QuickBooks with lines or QuickBooks without lines.

What is EZShield Fraud Protection?

EZShield is an optional add-on service that provides coverage against unauthorized check use, up to the stated protection limits, helping give you added financial security and peace of mind.

Do you offer additional products to help prevent check fraud?

Yes, we offer fraud prevention pens with permanent ink to help reduce the risk of check washing and alterations. It’s a simple, effective way to add an extra layer of protection when writing checks.

Do you offer fraud protection products not related to writing checks?

Yes, we offer additional tools to help protect your finances, including D-TEK counterfeit detector pens for verifying bills, security stamps to help conceal sensitive information, and RFID-blocking accessories to protect your cards from electronic theft.

What standard security features are included with your personal checks?

Our standard checks include built-in security features designed to help deter fraud and protect your information, such as microprint on the front and back that becomes unreadable when copied, chemical reactive paper that helps detect alterations, padlock security icons indicating industry-standard protections, and a screened back to help prevent duplication. These features provide reliable, everyday protection for secure check use.

What security features do your personal hologram checks include?

Our checks are designed with advanced anti-fraud protection, including a 3D hologram that cannot be removed or duplicated, a security warning band highlighting key features, invisible fluorescent fibers visible under black light, chemical stain protection to detect alterations, microprint on the front and back to prevent copying, a heat-sensitive icon that disappears with touch, industry-standard padlock icons with listed features, and a screened back to deter duplication. These features work together to help protect against fraud and give you added peace of mind.

What security features are included with your laser checks?

Our laser checks are available in three levels of protection: Standard, High Security, and Hologram, each offering increasing levels of fraud protection. Standard options include essential features like microprint, security warning bands, and screened backs. High Security options add enhanced protections such as chemical reactive paper, heat-sensitive icons, and fluorescent fibers. Hologram options provide the highest level of security, including tamper-resistant holograms along with advanced anti-copy and verification features. What security features are included with your Business Manual checks?

Our Business Manual checks include built-in security features to help protect against fraud while staying convenient for everyday use, including a padlock icon confirming compliance with industry security guidelines, a microprint (MP) signature line that breaks up if copied, and security details listed on the back of each check for easy verification. These features provide reliable protection in a compact, portable format designed for business use on the go.

Pricing & Promotions

Are taxes applied to check orders?

Sales tax is calculated based on the shipping address and applicable state and local tax requirements.

Customers with tax-exempt status may submit a valid tax-exemption certificate for review. Once approved, the exemption can be applied to qualifying orders.

Do you offer coupons?

Yes. Carousel Checks periodically offers coupon codes and special promotions. Please visit our Special Offers page to view current promotions and coupon offers.

Returns & Order Issues

Can I cancel my order after it has been placed?

If your order has not yet been printed, it may be canceled for a $5.00 service charge per line item.

If your order has already been printed, it cannot be canceled. However, shipping charges may be refunded, less a $5.00 service charge.

What is Carousel Checks’ return policy?

Because most of our products are custom printed, they generally cannot be returned. If a product is determined to be defective, Carousel Checks may replace or refund the item.

Non-custom printed products may be returned within 21 days of the original purchase date and may be subject to a restocking fee. Shipping charges are not refundable, and return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.

How long do I have to report a problem with my order?

Please notify Carousel Checks of any order issues within 30 days of the order date. This includes non-receipt of merchandise, product concerns, or missing items.

After 30 days, we may be limited in our ability to address issues related to the order.

Payments

What happens if my electronic check (eCheck) payment is declined or returned?

eCheck payments are authorized and processed through a third-party payment provider. If a payment is declined or returned unpaid, the payment may be re-submitted electronically, and any applicable return item fees permitted by law may be applied.
